ROSSO VERONESE I.G.T. “LE CORTESELE”

Characteristics:

A fine wine obtained from a selection of red grapes following the production guidelines for IGT Veronese. Hand-harvested after mid-October, when perfectly ripe.

Vinification:

After destemming and crushing the must ferments on the skins for 8 days at approximately 20°C (68°F) in dedicated temperature-controlled tanks. It is pumped over frequently to extract color and aromas from the skins.

Description

Aging:

Aging begins in oak barrels where the wine rests for at least 18 months, it is then bottle aged for at least 3 months.

Tasting Notes:

Ruby red with hints of garnet. Refined palate, harmonious, dry and velvety with cherry and forest fruit on the nose.

Pairing:

Excellent with first courses (pasta or rice dishes), second courses (meat dishes), cured meat and medium-aged cheeses.

Advice:

Serve at room temperature 18°-20°C (64°-68°F).

Percent Alcohol:

14%
